The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum is currently engaged in the largest textile conservation project in the organization’s history. Twenty of Ida McKinley’s gowns have been identified as good candidates for conservation treatment to stabilize them for display. This program will explore Mrs. McKinley’s style, using our collection of archival photograph and her dresses, as well as a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of the conservation process.
The program is $15 and includes tea/coffee and breakfast sweets. Reservations are required. Please call 330-455-7043.
The Museum is located at 800 McKinley Monument Dr. NW in Canton.
