Woman’s History Month Lecture Series
Executive Director Kim Kenney takes an illustrated look at the evolution of fashion from 1860 to the present. Did you know that before the hemline rose above the ankle in the 1910s, no one paid much attention to their shoes? (No one could see them!) Or that in the Victorian Age, it was wildly popular to make jewelry out of human hair? Vintage advertisements add another interesting dimension to this program.
Each program will include a lecture and light refreshments. Cost per person is $10. If you sign up for all four programs, the cost is just $30 – you will get one free! All programs are at 2:00 PM.
