Earth Day – Science Saturday

Date
- Apr 15, 2023
Time
- 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Earth Day – Science Saturday will be held on April 15th from 11:00AM-1:00PM. This will be our Earth Day Celebration, just a bit early.
We will run an open house style workshop with fun activities and crafts for kids of all ages. This workshop is included with paid admission to the museum.
Every year on April 22, Earth Day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. Since the Science Department will be out doing community services on April 22nd, we want to recognize Earth Day on the 15th. Today, Earth Day is widely recognized as the largest secular observance in the world, marked by more than a billion people every year as a day of action to change human behavior and create global, national and local policy changes.
