Movie Camp is BACK!
We are so excited to bring back Lights! Camera! Action! Movie Camp in partnership with Nightwine Productions (www.nwntv.com). The camp will be held July 31 – August 3 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and is for students in grades 6-8. The cost is $165/$155 for Museum Members.
Students need to bring a packed lunch and water every day, and be prepared to wear the same outfit each day.
At Movie Camp, students will learn:
- Camera work
- Green screen work
After filming has completed, the movie will be edited in the following months, with a world premiere at a local theater, sometime during the Christmas holidays. This year’s film camp will focus on the main summer exhibit at the McKinley Museum – LEGO! The tentative title of the movie is “Legomania”. The plot involves a group of kids who must help a stranded Lego ship, and its crew, find their way home. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today.
