Soup at Six: “Life of Death: The History and Culture of Death and Dying”
Join Executive Director Kim Kenney as she explores how the meaning of death and death rituals have changed over time. Cultures around the world handle death very differently, from the sentimental to the macabre. This new program will trace the history of sky burial, cremation, green burial, embalming, superstitions regarding the deceased, and more.
