TITLE: Assistant Facilities Manager
REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager
STATUS: Full time, some evening/weekend hours for events, availability after hours in emergency situations.
OBJECTIVES:
This position is responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager with all aspects of maintenance duties, including repairs, building projects, and grounds care.
QUALIFICATIONS: Working knowledge of building & grounds maintenance. Ability to lift at least 75 pounds. A valid driver’s license is required.

SALARY: $12/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the facility and grounds, including setting up tables and chairs for events, installation of exhibitions, snow removal on sidewalks, etc.
Performs minor facility repairs such as painting, plumbing, wall patching, spot stain removal, and other repairs
Procures supplies, tools, and equipment as directed by the Facilities Manager
Utilizes a variety of equipment in the maintenance of the facilities, including: man lift, power tools, riding lawnmower, and other maintenance equipment
Maintain all equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to complete maintenance tasks
Proactively inspects the facility, systems, rooms, common areas, etc. and report back any findings or issues to the Facilities Manager
Manage the building in the absence of the Facilities Manager
Second on call during off-duty hours
Performs other duties as assigned
