About the Authors
Kevin Pawlak serves as a Historic Site Manager for the Prince William County Historic Preservation Division and is a Licensed Battlefield Guide at Antietam National Battlefield. He has also written Shepherdstown in the Civil War: One Vast Confederate Hospital and co-authored the book To Hazard All: A Guide to the Maryland Campaign. Dan Welch currently serves as primary and secondary educator in northeast Ohio. He formerly served as the Education Programs Coordinator for the Gettysburg Foundation and he works as a seasonal Park Ranger at Gettysburg National Military Park. He also has an MA in Military History with a concentration in Civil War history.
