It also covers his tragic death from the bullets of an assassin to the design and construction of the McKinley National Memorial, the final resting place of not only the President, but also First Lady Ida McKinley and the couple’s two young daughters.

About the Author: Christopher Kenney earned a Master of Arts degree in History Museum Studies at the Cooperstown Graduate Program. He served 13 years as District 5 coordinator for Ohio History Day which covers 8 counties in Northeast Ohio. He was the Director of Education at the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum in Canton from 2001 until his passing in 2019.
