The program will run from June 5, 2024 until August 9, 2024. Orientation date will be June 11, 2024 at 2:00pm.
Are you looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend your summer? Then spend it at the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum as a Student Volunteer in Discover World! If you like interacting with others that are interested in science then we’re looking for you!
You will assist the staff with guest relations, science demos, summer camps, and other workshops. Each student is required to volunteer one 4-hour shift per week. You may volunteer for more than one shift if there is availability and need.
Your volunteer experience will look great on college applications and will also count towards community service requirements required by many schools and organizations.
Requirements:
- Final deadline for applications will be June 5, 2024.
- Must be 15-18 years old by the start of the program on June 5, 2024.
- Fill out and submit the application below and the Minor Volunteer Parental Consent Form by June 11, 2024.
- Must be able to work 2 summer camp days each week of the 2 weeks of summer science camp.
