Join Archivist, Mark Holland, on February 15, 2024 as he illustrates with sight and sound a part of William McKinley’s life in Canton before he places himself on the national scene as President of the United States.

You will be transported back to Canton, Ohio in the 1890’s. You will experience more about William McKinley, his wife, Ida Saxton McKinley, and their life in Canton, Ohio. Canton became a refuge from the hustle and bustle of Columbus, Ohio. See how William McKinley became the thirty-ninth governor of the state of Ohio.
