How and why did women play a role in making alcohol before and during Prohibition? Find out at Honeys of the Hooch: The Sordid Tales of Women Moonshiners!

During Prohibition, women manufactured alcohol and women sold alcohol, but more than any aspect of bootlegging, women were the ideal smugglers. Women were confined to very strict social roles — but women bootleggers were able to exploit them for their own gain. Learn about the wild and crazy ways of the woman moonshiner
