The McKinley Gallery
The Life and Times of William McKinley on Display
Using objects and images from the Museum’s ever-growing and vast collection, this Gallery, dedicated to the life of William McKinley contains the largest collection of McKinley artifacts in the world. The exhibit, on permanent display, chronicles the life and career of our 25th president from his birth to tragic death at the hands of an assassin. The exhibit also explores the construction of the McKinley National Memorial and the unfortunate fate of McKinley’s Canton “front porch” home. This exhibit also includes the popular and recently-acquired Ida Saxton McKinley gold and diamond tiara.
