McKinley Presidential Library & Museum Adds Sunday Hours

Beginning Sunday June 16, the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum will be open on Sundays from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Sunday hours for the Museum Shoppe are 12:00 PM to 3:45 PM. Admission is not required to visit the Museum Shoppe.

Shows in the the Hoover-Price Planetarium are also included with admission. “Universe at Large” will be presented at 1:00 PM & 2:00 PM on Sundays. This 30-minute show includes monthly highlights, latest news, and a night sky tour. This show is designed for ages 7 and up. Tickets required for the planetarium shows and are available on a first come, first served basis at the Admissions Window.

The new Keller Gallery exhibition “A Constellation of Objects,” featuring artifacts in the Museum’s permanent collection that relate to the Night Sky, will be on view. More than 200 artifacts are on display, including a Snoopy astronaut doll from 1969, a drinking gourd (The Big Dipper), a copper belt (Orion), a stuffed teddy bear (Ursa Major), and much more.

ABOUT THE MUSEUM

The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum is located at 800 McKinley Monument Dr NW in Canton. The Keller Gallery is the Museum’s temporary exhibition space and features a variety of topics each year. The Museum also includes the McKinley National Memorial, McKinley Gallery, Street of Shops, The Stark County Story, Discover World, Ramsayer Research Library, and the Hoover-Price Planetarium. The Museum is open Tuesday – Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Museum is closed Sunday and Monday.
