Join the McKinley Museum on November 2, 2023 for the next program in the Soup at Six series. Cultures around the world handle death very differently, from the sentimental to the macabre. Executive Director Kim Kenney’s program will trace the history of sky burial, cremation, green burial, embalming, superstitions regarding the deceased, and more. We will also look at the professionalization of the funeral industry and how it has shaped our view of what it means to die. Sponsored by Arnold Funeral Home.
This program is $25 per person and includes soup, bread, and dessert. Pre-paid reservations required and can be purchased on the website at the link below or by calling in. Registration deadline is October 26, 2023.
