Summer Science Camp 2023 | Week One – Grades 1-5

Join us for our 2023 Summer Camp Week 1 at McKinley Presidential Library & Museum!

These half-day camps expose students to the amazing world in the many fields of science. The camps were designed to be interactive and include group and individual work. Summer Science Camps are designed to follow the science state standards for grades 1 through 5.

Dates & TIMES

July 11 – 14, 2023 • 9 a.m. to noon daily

Students can sign up for any number of days.

July 11: Lego Day
Students will work in teams to create amazing lego creations and then visit the Brick Flicks exhibit in the Keller Gallery.

July 12: Reptile Day
Students will learn about different reptile species that live at the museum and how they are cared for and the importance they serve in nature.

July 13: Fun with Physics
Students will learn how to make catapults, egg drop baskets, and much more.

July 14: Nature Day
Students will spend the day outside dip netting, learning about insects, and trees. Please wear old clothes , we could get dirty or muddy.

Cost

$25 per day per student for non-members

$23 per day per student for members (discount calculated at checkout)

Registration

Registration is required and the deadline will be July 4. Limit of 25 students per day. Please register EACH STUDENT separately, as we will collect important information about your student during the checkout process.
