The McKinley Presidential Library & Museum has joined museums nationwide in the Blue Star Museums initiative, a program that provides free admission to currently-serving U.S. military personnel and their families this summer.Â
We are proud to announce that we are now participating in the Museums for All program, thanks to a grant from PNC Foundation! EBT cardholders can receive reduced price admission: $3 for adults, and FREE admission for children under 18!Â

The McKinley National Memorial, a landmark in the City of Canton, is the final resting place for the 25th President of the United States, William McKinley. Residents of Canton pass by the Monument and its 108 steps every day. Traveling on Interstate 77, the Monument towers above the trees. But some may wonder: Why is such a magnificent building in Canton? The answer is quite simple. William McKinley was and is Canton’s favorite son.Â

The William McKinley Presidential Library & Museum collection holds over 42,000, ranging from the prehistoric period to the present day. We are dedicated to collecting and preserving the significant materials and records related to the history of Stark County and the presidential history of William McKinley.Â
The Ramsayer Archive houses printed materials relating to the life and death of William McKinley, as well as the history of Stark County. These materials include books, pamphlets, genealogical materials, journals and magazines, microfilm, manuscripts, photographs, maps and atlases, oral histories, ephemera, posters, prints and broadsides, sheet music, and architectural drawings.
As a private nonprofit organization, we rely on the support of volunteers, donors, and members like you! Your membership is more than a great deal for you and your family. It is also an important source of funding for the museum. We need your help to connect more people to History and Science today for a better future tomorrow.
